Will the New Engines work on older sets. -Yes Good news for the third time – they will happily work on the new track although some features on some of the old sets may not. Will my old track connect to the new track? -The answer is again good news as yes it will as all new playsets will include adaptors to be compatible with previous sets(not the Tomy Motor Road and Rail sets though), Peep Peep Thomas will be actively trying to source additional adaptors where possible for our customers. Will the old engines work on the new track? -Good News the answer is yes, but as the new track on some playsets is designed to be much steeper (up to a massive 30 degrees) then the old design Trackmaster and Tomy Motor Road and Rail trains will struggle to climb these new tall playsets. The Trackmaster revolution track has been dsigned to deliver a more authentic Thomas and Friends experience with strongerconnector plugs for that more realistic railway look and feel.
